One of the world’s most captivating environments are Brazil’s incredible rain forests. The planet’s oldest living ecosystems, often referred to as the Lungs of the Earth, are as amazing as they are beautiful. Although covering only 6 percent of the Earth’s surface its biodiversity boasts the greatest collection of plants and animals containing MORE THAN half of the world’s species.

Brazil’s Amazon jungle offers amazing adventures for the adventure traveller. There are the flooded forests in the Amazon, best experienced by day boat trips searching out the peaceful river tributaries with their abundance of wildlife.  In the evening the jungle comes alive, almost deafening, with troops of howler monkeys moving through the rainforest canopy calling to each other. Caiman spotting at night time taking a slow boat along the river bank where our guide will enlighten you on all there is to know about these reptilian creatures.

How about sleeping in the jungle in your own hammock, listening to the sounds of the jungle whilst you gaze upwards and see the stars. With limited to no light pollution seeing the galactic core from the magic of the rain forest is a truly amazing experience.
